Payment Terms

All prices shown are in AUS Dollars. 

All prices include GST (10% goods and services tax).

The Balloon Brand does not accept cash payments unless otherwise agreed to in writing. We accept payments via PayPal checkout which allows you to pay with PayPal, debit or credit card

All orders must be paid in full before we will commence creating an order.

Delivery Information

Please select a delivery date no less than 3 days from today’s date so we can ensure there are no faults or leaks with the balloon.

Delivery will be on the date you have selected and will be delivered anytime within the range of time 9am – 5pm Monday – Saturday.

Deliveries are only available  Monday – Saturday except for special events eg. Mother’s Day.

No deliveries on Sundays unless otherwise specified by us in writing.

If for reasons outside our control (eg. government imposed lockdown, staff illness, localised flooding)  and we are unable to deliver on your selected date we will contact you as soon as practicable. We may offer an alternative time/location that is suitable to both parties.

Any “Special Instructions” or requests will be noted but not guaranteed unless in writing by us. Special instructions regarding addition or extra products or specific times may have additional costs attached. We will advise you of any costs before proceeding.

If no one is available to accept delivery within the time range, the balloons will be left in a safe place (generally under cover, out of the sun and not immediately visible from the street) and we will notify you.

You may indicate a “safe place” to leave in the special instructions at checkout. We take no responsibility for the products once the balloons have been delivered.
If there is no one to accept delivery and there is no safe place to leave the order we will contact you for instructions. We will also attempt to contact any alternative onsite contact provided by you in the checkout process. 
If we are unable to successfully reach you and/or the onsite contact/recipient, and there is no safe place to leave the balloons they will be returned to base and can either be collected from our Matraville location OR re-delivered at an extra charge. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you agree to pay any additional retrieval or delivery fees associated.
In circumstances out of our control (eg road closures, road accident, power outages) we will contact you as soon as possible to advise you of any potential delays. We will take no responsibility for the balloons/products left at your nominated address.

Delivery to Businesses/Schools/Hospitals/Hotels

In some cases delivery will be made via reception, front desk, main office, concierge, loading dock, mail room or similar at the instruction of the company/building management/organisation.

We take no responsibility after delivery is accepted by building staff.

If a recipient or onsite contact is unavailable the balloons may be left with a colleague.

Return courier and re-delivery will incur an additional delivery fee. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you agree to pay any additional delivery fees. 

We take no responsibility for your balloon order after it has been safely delivered. We will not refund, replace or exchange items that have been damaged due to lack of care or surrounding conditions.

Upon delivery we encourage you to check your order, if it is found to have damages do not accept the order from the courier and contact us.

 

Product Information

  1. Each balloon is unique & therefore no two orders will be identical.
  2. There may be discrepancies/variations to the photos depicted on our site. Colours may differ slightly to images seen on our website due to monitor colour settings & lighting.
  3. We aim to keep stock availability of all our products up to date on our website. In the event a specific product is unavailable: We reserve the right to substitute our products for a similar product/colour palette. If a suitable alternative is not available, we will contact you for instructions. If we are un-able to contact you we will use our best judgement to substitute the required balloon with the closest alternative. No refunds will be offered in this situation.
  4. No exchange or modification of the vinyl text or acrylic tag and products placed in the balloon once the order has been received and confirmed.
  5. We will do our best to match the colour, sentiment and suitability of the recipient. We may substitute flowers, hat box, soft toys, ribbon and fabric with a similar product of equal or greater value

 

Quality and Care

Great care has been taken in creating your balloon so to achieve maximum enjoyment & longevity please follow these instructions

Balloons are made for display purposes so please avoid excessive handling

Handle with care as they are delicate

Do not leave in a vehicle

If you are picking up your order ensure that the air conditioning is on when transporting balloons on a hot day

Keep away from direct light, heat sources & sharp objects

Store indoors at room temperature

Vinyl Text may shrink in cold conditions

We take great care when preparing all orders and pride ourselves on supply of high quality products and customer service.

Every product leaves the store in perfect condition. As such:

1. We take no responsibility for your balloon order after it has been safely delivered. 

2. We will not refund, replace or exchange items that have been damaged due to lack of care or surrounding conditions after delivery.

3. In the very rare case of balloons being damaged in transit, we will replace the damaged product at our earliest opportunity. We may refund the cost of the damaged elements if a replacement is unavailable to be redelivered within a reasonable time.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Balloons are not a toy & can present a choking hazard for small children and pets. Do not leave small children unaccompanied with balloons.

Ensure that all choking hazards including but not limited to tape, fishing wire & balloon stick have been removed before giving the balloons/baby products to children.

Your Responsibility

Please take care when selecting the date of delivery for your balloon order and when reviewing the products you have chosen. We take no responsibility for incorrect product/text/spelling or delivery date selection. By ordering with us, you agree to all the above terms and conditions.

Balloons and The Environment

We care deeply about the environment and would like to do our part in caring for our planet, now and into the future.

Once you have reached maximum enjoyment from our balloon creation we encourage you to send back your popped balloon/s to us (this includes latex/foil/bobo) so we can dispose of them through The Balloon Recycling Australia Program.

This program recycles our used balloons through a 3 stage process turning them into granulated flakes of colour. These flakes then turn into products such as balloon weights, ornaments, novelty items, balloon dogs, teddy bears and more.
